Last Saturday, Mark drove the bike to the Northwest game. It started to rain after the game but no worries...he had his new rain gear. I just had to get a picture of it to show everyone who missed out. :)

Last weekend Steve and I flew to Albuquerque, NM to visit friends we met in college. (We found really cheap tickets.) It was a lot of fun! We went to the Old Town Plaza, ate amazing Mexican food, and soaked up some sun. In this picture, we are on the top of the Sandias Mountains. We took the worlds longest air tram up the mountain and saw the sunset. It was...beautiful.

T-Shirt Design Contest!

Due to a higher price on t-shirts we won't get to see every design that we came up with on the beach this month. I thought it'd be fun to put to a vote what the best t-shirt design was. I nominate the following three designs:

Steve asked for an old school 49ers version. This is as close as I could come.

Debbie, I couldn't get anything similiar to the graphic with similar palm trees without the sun, but here is a similiar sun without the palm trees in Grandma's trademark color.

And again in the greatest color ever invented for university apparel. :)

White Graphics

Theses shirts didn't look quite right with the white text and similiar colored borders so I switched it. The color of the t-shirt and the color of the text don't quite match even though they are named the same. Besides that, which wouldn't be a problem on the actual shirt, what do you think, Tammy?

Red Lettering

Here's what the T-shirt looks like in red instead of brown. Let me know if you'd like to see any other colors. (It's really not a problem today.)

Vacation T-shirts!

Here's what we've found so far. We'll keep looking, but this design is an early favorite. What do you all think? Below is what it would look like in several other colors. Any ideas on whether we should all have the same color or seperate colors by family or individual? I'll post any other design I find that have potential in the future...or later today. :)

Valentine's Box (Take 2)

I came inside with the mail this afternoon and said, "Halle! You guys got a Valentine's package from Nana and Papa!" She said, (and I quote) "Maybe it could be BOOKS!!"

Think she knows you, Mom?! **Halle has a really bad cold- excuse the watery eyes and red nose!

Valentine's Box!

Thank you, Aunt Debbie-Debbie for the "Balentime's Box!" The girls LOVED opening it up and, of course, the books were a hit!I laughed so hard I cried when she pulled out the pink and white striped skirt and said, "OH! OH! It's a booger-rag!" I'll put the story of THAT at the bottom:This is the best pic I could get of the spring outfit (So cute, by the way!): Alright, the booger rag...

So she has this thing at night where she will pick her nose and then call for us to come get whatever she pulls out. Yes. Exceedingly gross.

She will yell, "MOMMY! I got a BOOOOOOGER!" I got really really tired of going in there to get them off of her fingers, so I had a brilliant idea of letting her pick her own burp cloth out of Cate's basket at night to... well, wipe things on. She loves it. Calls it her booger rag. She usually chooses the pink and white striped ones.

So when she pulled the skirt out of the box, I guess she thought it was a super-exciting new "booger rag".
